17.6% of Black male students will receive an out-of-school suspension, compared to just 5.2% of white male students.

10% of Black girls will also be suspended -that's four times the rate of white girls.

This means our babies aren’t just being disciplined they’re being judged differently. And if they’re being judged differently, then we must commit to seeing them differently.
